Journal Prompt 84 and Project of the Day

Dear Scribblers

"My favourite era for fashion is... "

Project of the Day: Do you ever look at old photos of yourself and laugh at all the different outfits you've worn over the years. How about creating a layout or mini-book of your own catwalk clothes show showing all your hits (and misses) in your fashion world? I'd love to see the finished results.

Journal Prompt 83

Dear Scribblers

"I am most emotional when.... These emotions are positive/negative because..."

Unfortunately, not every experience you have in this world can be a positive one. However, sometimes it's good to write about the upsetting memories as much as they happy ones, as they all make up the story of your life, and have made you the person you are today.

It doesn't mean you need to create a scrapbook layout about it, but writing down how something made you feel can be part of the process to heal yourself. Listen to your own thoughts, and follow your own intuition.

This is about your own choices, and making your own decisions. You are in control of your destiny and how you chose to remember your life.

Journal Prompt 80 and Project of the Day

Dear Scribblers

"The person who had the biggest positive influence on me as a child was.... because.... "

Project of the Day: Was it a parent, a relative, a teacher, a friend? Have you ever expressed how much they mean to you? Dedicate a page or project to them. Once you begin, who knows what memories will surface.

This is another project that you can use for Scrapping and Journalling Your Own History.

Journal Prompt 79 and Project of the Day, with EXTRA Long-term Project

Dear Scribblers

"My favourite thing to cook is..."

Project of the Day: How about making a scrapbook page of your favourite meal. Take photos of the ingredients, yourself in the kitchen cooking, and then the finished meal. You could even make a mini-book starting with you buying the ingredients and take photos all the way through to the folks around the table with their empty plates! Have fun with ordinary everyday tasks. These are the memories of your life.

Long-term Project: Extend your scrapbooking into your kitchen! If cooking is something you adore, have you made yourself a recipe box or book. Use your creative talents and create an inspiring place to keep your favourite recipes.

Journal Prompt 73

Dear Scribblers

"If in a past reincarnation you could have been anyone, who would you have liked to have been?"

Are you famous? Work for someone important? A normal everyday person? Which period in history? Which country?

What can you make from this information? Let me know how you are using the journal prompts, I would love to know.

Journal Prompt 72

Dear Scribblers

"What do you like about you?"

Project of the Day: Make a Brag Book about YOU! Make a list of all your positive points. Then make a feel good page, or mini-book, which you can use in the future on those low self-esteem and 'blurgh' days. You don't need to show this to anyone else. This is something personal and private, for your own use.

News Flash... Communiqué... News Flash...

Dear Scribblers

NaNoWriMo has begun! Are you joining in too?

You can track my progress, by watching the box to your left. As I write more words, the little red line will increase... hopefully! Will I achieve the 50,000 words in a month? I'm not sure, but I'm all for trying.

Journal Prompt 71, Project of the Day and a taste of what's to come!

Dear Scribblers

Take your favourite item from your favourite room and write about it.

Project of the Day: Take a photo of the item, and create a page about it. Small snapshots of your life help illustrate who you are, and often have as much meaning as the big celebration photographs. These memories show the 'real' you.

Note: Keep hold of this page, as it will become part of Scrapbooking and Journalling Your Own History.

Happy Scribing!
